I believe , as a whole - the government doctors did their jobs well.
I do not deny there are a few cases of negligience and misfortunate happened..
but , generally - we did our job
Even thou , technically we could bring our case to the international court in Hague - of being "overworked" - but we didnt.
Coz - we are serving our nation - our own malaysians..... dengan penuh keikhlasan - aminnnnn
Nonetheless - u cant expect us to work as a robot. There will be a hole somewhere , somehow. Cut us some slack. We hardly complain when we go back at home - way past our check out time - sometimes at 9 pm... sometimes at 11 pm even thou we are not "on call"
If u are looking for a VIP - superfast service - help urselves to the private hospital. Here in gov hospital - we dont have enuf docs.
For crying out loud... the gov hospital is free...
At the private hospital - u could have 10 specialist treating 1 patient.... in the gov hospital.... 1 specialist.. treats 100 of patients.. U cant expect we could work at the same speed...
At private hospital - the OT is empty most of the time because not everyone could afford the cost there.... which explain why the operation could be done very fast...
at gov hospital - there are only a few OT and hundreds of patients waiting in line - and mostly are emergency cases...which explain why u have to wait....
Some said government docs dont know the important of life...
Some said we never put our foot in the patient's shoes...
For the love of God ...
if we never thought about that... everyone will leave the gov and work at the private sector.
We want to save a lot of life - that's why there's a lot of specialist still at the gov hospital...
Does the word "logic" never come across our mind?
U dont expect the gov will give ur kids free laptop when they enrolled into gov schools rite?

I've read the entry a few days back. I've nothing else to say regardless of the demotivating comments you've got there.
I second you 200%. They just need to learn what logic is. And for some misconducts they had encountered before, aishh, that's what we call 'unlucky'. There are times in life, where we cannot get what we wish for. Plus, a few years back, we still didn't have enough doctors to entertain every single patient at the very 1st second they came to the hospital. Hmmm.
If so, we can't drink mineral water in ward la. That's not pro. Hahahaha.
p/s: Congratulation on your engagement! Can't wait to attend your wedding. Kak Syida must be super duper sweet!
tension erkk bila timbul isu gini?
apapun...akak tahu hannan leh wat kerja n baik. wat kerja ngan ikhlas tapi jangan sampai pesakit lak jatuh hati ngan hannan udah ler.. :)
hello bro..
sometimes people prefer to say something which sounds LOGICAL though they themselves would feel the 'nonsense' of their way of thinking.
people tend to talk and grumble anything they wish, as it might satisfy their feelings more than they satisfy others'.
that's the trend for such parties, for sure.
regardless of how hurt are others' assumptions or even accusations.. just stay with what u believe and sure as THE TRUTH..
and as long as u do nothing wrong..
just let it be.
but yes.. u unquestionably should stand on what u have said (as what u are doing now).
thus i'm telling u that 'i'm proud of you!'
i dont/never blame gov doctors. sendiri2 punya attitude sebenarnya..
prghh.. ada doctor kat private/specialist hospital pun yg cikai jgk.. baru terkena ni..
congratulations to u & shidah..!!
salam...
ajal dan maut di tangan tuhan....
susah nak puaskan hati semuakan....some people buat2 tak faham dan cuba mencari kesalahan orang.
Anyway doc, jgn bimbang...that is life...
p/s: beli lar insurans kalu nak yg terbaik untuk dirikan...so, kalu emergency, tak yah g gov hospitalkan...
salam dr hannan... am a fan of your blog... simply becoz i adore your profession as a doctor... yang bertarung dengan NYAWA manusia.... what an honorable profession!! all these while i was just a silent reader here...
and now rasa macam terpanggil juga nak bagi comment kat sini.... saya rasa luahan perasaan seorang dr. solely becos of tekanan kerja.... semua orang ada tekanan kerja tak kira apa profession sekalipun but am sure anyone in your position as a doctor dah tentu2 anticipate all the TENSIONS whatsoeva beforehand ever since you guys in the med school kan....
i think you dont get the clear picture here... its not the matter of having a logical thought or what... of cos la semua orang boleh berFIKIRan logic here.... berborak2 kosong ke or baca sotkabar ke takkan la tak boleh kan... but then, LOGICkah perbuatan itu diBUAT ketika keadaan tidak mengizinkan? i think semua orang deserves to get some rest... robot pun kalau 24 jam ON sure mati jugak lama2 kan... tapi wajarkah patients dijadikkan mangsa kerana doctor tak cukup rest? if let say one of you was on the patient's shoe, how would you react?
bukan la tidak simpati pada doctor tapi dalam keadaan pesakit yang SAKIT, siapa yang sepatutnya diBERIkan simpati? doctor yang tidak cukup rehat ataupun pesakit yang sedang bertarung dengan kesakitan?
i always looked up on doctors dan semua yang terlibat dalam bidang perubatan simply because they are doing an honorable job... but if someone like me started to look down on them not because we SIMPLY want to, but because they themselves ASKED for it... banyak kes pesakit terpaksa kunci mulut sebab di MAKI dan di cerca di hospital... hina sangatkah sampai perlu mendengar segala makian dan cacian... mentang2lah yang pergi hospital kerajaan tu golongan yang kurang mampu ke hospital swasta tapi kenapa MARUAH mereka perlu diperkotak katikkan? wlaupun tidak dinafikan bukan semua doctor begini... ada yang betul2 IKHLAS dalam kerjaya masing2 sebagai doctor... namun, layanan buruk terhadap pesakit di hospital kerajaan bukan baru di mesia... bukan 1 atau 2 kes serupa has been reported but numerous complaints of the similar cases.... so di manakah kesudahannya?
mungkin doctors di mesia dah kena start fight for themselves with regard to the basic pay, working hours, OT bla bla bla.... sebab, i strongly believe ini semua ada kaitan dengan ISU hangat di hospital kerajaan di mesia... mungkin terlintas di hati, gaji ciput but have to work like a slave... mungkin juga kan... hence the negative attitude shown towards patients.....
anyway, am not against any of the doctors out there... i know everyone has their down turn... but seriously, berbaktilah dengan seikhlas mungkin... and am sure sekiranya keihklasan menjadi ASAS utama dalam diri, tidak timbul isu seperti ini...
p/s: i've had lots of BAD experience with gov hosp in mesia too! but am so surprise to receive a SUPER NICE treatment in gov hosp in Denmark... i didnt have to pay a penny but was treated like i was in private hosp. or must i say, much better than the private hospital indeed!!
hanan
akak rasa semuanya bergantung pada attitude seseorang dan cara mereka memikul tanggungjawab yang diberi. Baru2 ni pengalaman akak kat hospital gov. buat buat akk ubah fikiran mgatakan hospital kerajaan pun bagus. Aiman terima superfast services dari doktor pakar orthopedik, tak sampai 10 minit nurses kat wad panggil, beliau dah muncul kat wad mmg terharu sgt coz doktor kat private hosp. pun tak secepat tu.
Anyway tahniah diatas pertunangan anda :)
