MASSAD dinner 2008 - part 2

More and more photos from MASSAD dinner :) It has been a fairly good sunday for me. Yes, it was a working sunday as a replacement for holiday on friday. Reached the hospital quite late today but I was lucky enuf to be on time to draw blood from my classmate vein this morning. Suddenly our teacher offered us a free FBC & BMP test ( blood test ) , and I asked her permission to do it on my classmate and she was fine with it. Well , we havent received the result yet , but I'm pretty sure my glucose and cholesterol level will be up to the roof due to excessive consumption of lamb and orange juice during the dinner the night before!

My tablemate :) sue , elyn and iqbal. Yes, we got the front table - just 5 seaters , next to the honourable vip table. Had a very good view of the performance :) Owh yeah - the magical stars are the souvenier from the dinner :)

Thai airways is one of the big sponsors of the dinner. There were quite a number of sponsors for the dinner actually and it amazed me how the organizer managed to get them. Lovely job guys! On the photo above , was our vice dean giving his speech.
Me, waiting my name to be called upon for to get my special souvenier from the massad commitee. Well , actually the commitee gave all the future graduate a special souvenier as a final remembrance.... :) Nice touch!
From left - ameer, iqbal, faiz n anwar. It was nice to dress up once in a while rite? hahaha.. yeah. we all gonna be doctors soon - better learn to dress up well everyday! Anwar was my roomate for 2 years and he's currently my virtual roomate! Faiz, my classmate for 6 years. Iqbal , my junior - we've been playing football together for quite sometimes. Ameer ? hehehe.. he's a great guy of course..
me and beloved juniors - vina and karina :) Enjoy ur next few years in moscow! Would be great if i could hang out more with u all , but - I'm leaving first. Play time is nearly over for me! Gonna miss u guys a lot !

On left , me and kai voon - on the right me and joyce :) U both u looked great last nite! It has been a wonderful 6 years for us here in moscow. Well, there are of course some downhill moments , nevertheless - those "unwanted" moments made the good times taste better!
