the most famous disease that will appear during the fasting month - is the gastritis. It's the best medical reason for not fasting :P

So, what the heck is gastritis is ? Gastritis is the inflammation of the gatric mucosa of the stomach. As u can see in the picture above , the red patches inside the stomach are the sign of inflammation.

What are the causes and factors of gastritis?

• All type of infection ( bacterial , viral , parasite, fungi ) the most famous is Helicobacter Pylori
• Bile reflux
• Drugs such as NSAID and steroid
• Stress and eating disorder
• Excessive Alcohol, Smoking and Caffeine
• Autoimmune

Me myself have gastritis. I was diagnosed with gastritis when I was in secondary school. Possible causes? Stress and improper diet :P This condition is worsen by my habit of eating hot and spicy food.

they are "upper abdominal pain and discomfort, bleeding from stomach, nausea, vomitting, loss of appetite , belching, fever, lethargy...."

What are the treatment for gastritis?

Usually we use the triple theraphy - 2 antibacterial and 1 proton pump inhibitor

for ex - 2 antibiotics (clarithromycin + amoxicillin) and PPI ( omeprazole)

Should the patient with chronic gastritis continue fasting? No, they need to take the meds on time and eat properly.
But most people just simply complain they have gastritis without even consulting the doctors.
