The most common complication of the Chronic gastritis are the perforation and bleeding

As u can see in the photo above, the hole is the perforation that caused by the chronic gastritis. The blood form the bleeding and the stomach content will enter the body cavity thru the hole which will cause severe infection of multiple organs. Hence, the patient could be dead either by the severe bleeding ( blood loss) or the severe infection.

Therefore , should u have the symptoms and signs of gastritis , please refer to the nearby doctors!
